WACC members are cordially invited to a luncheon February 4th in honor of Francisco Duarte Lopes, Portuguese ambassador to the United Nations.
The luncheon—co-sponsored by WACC, the NC Zeitgeist Foundation, and the German Friendly Society—will be held at the German Friendly Society’s venue at 29 Chalmers Street.

Note that the Charleston Library Society is hosting Ambassador Lopes for an evening program on February 4th as part of their ongoing Ambassador R. L. Walker International Relations & Diplomacy Series. Ambassador Lopes’ visit honors the anniversary of the German-French Friendship Treaty.
