The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is at the epicenter of global fears about Islamist terrorism, the collapse of regional stability in the Middle East, the growth of violent Sunni-Shia sectarianism, the outflow of huge numbers of refugees, and constitutes a huge challenge and potential danger to the United States.  Andrew Peek will address these issues, helping us to clarify our thinking about what is certain to remain at the top of America's foreign policy agenda for the foreseeable future.

John Allen.  He also helped craft policy toward Lebanon, Syria and Iran as a foreign affairs adviser for two different U.S. senators. As a former U.S. Army intelligence officer, he also supported U.S. operations throughout the Middle East.
